A template added the wrong products, or a product is missing

Why applying a template can skip items, and how to keep templates current.

Written by Josh Channin

If applying a template doesn't add everything you expected, here's why.

A product is no longer offered

Templates only add products that are currently available. If an item in a template is no longer offered, it's skipped. Re-open the template, replace the missing item, and save it again.

The template didn't match the patient

Templates are suggested automatically when a patient's chart includes a matching diagnosis. If a template wasn't suggested, the patient's diagnoses may not match its ICD-10 codes. You can still open Templates and apply it manually.

Keeping templates current

Review your templates periodically and re-save any that reference items that are no longer offered.
